This BLOG will be accompany me on my C25k journey to a new me. My goal is to run a 5k befor my 30th birthday (May 18th). This is all a bit scary for me. Mostly the fear comes from failing and/or giving up, but I am fighting it daily with positive thinking, scripture, and support from my hubby and friends.

As I laid down with Licoln (my 5m old) I was making a list of "things" I needed to buy before I started my C25K journey: new tennis shoes, a stop watch, headphones for my IPod, new workout clothes, etc... I could have gone on and on, but I STOPPED and I took a huge leap and started my trek today with what I had!

I put on what I had, as far as workout clothes, found my old tennis shoes, did some stretching and I started on my way to my C25k training.

I started with a brisk 5min walk and then began doing 60 sec intervals of walking /jogging. I have no idea how long
